Introducing Current Research in Microbial Sciences

Dear Professor Borges,

Current Research in Parasitology & Vector-Borne Diseases (CRPVBD) ) is a new, gold open access journal from Elsevier, edited by Professor Aneta Kostadinova. CRPVBD publishes high-impact primary papers covering all aspects of human and animal parasitology, vector biology and vector-borne pathogens.

Current Research in Parasitology & Vector-Borne Diseases considers the following types of paper:

  • Research articles: in-depth studies of broad significance to parasitology and vector researchers.

  • Review articles: critical overview of the field, with a strong focus on current challenges and bottlenecks to future advances.

  • Short communications: short articles describing significant new findings and observations.

  • Graphical reviews: brief, synthetic overviews of core concepts and processes, focusing on visual representation.

  • Letters to the Editor, opinion articles and short articles on methodology will also be considered.

CRPVBD welcomes your submission and will waive the APC (Article Publishing Charge) for submissions received before 31st December 2021.

Aneta is a Professor of Parasitology at the Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia, Bulgaria. She is a leading expert in the diversity and ecology of parasitic worms. Her extensive editorial experience in the field of parasitology and vectors research will ensure that submitted manuscripts at CRPVBD will benefit from a rapid and thorough review straight from launch.
