Dear Professor Borges, Current Research in Parasitology & Vector-Borne Diseases (CRPVBD) ) is a new, gold open access journal from Elsevier, edited by Professor Aneta Kostadinova. CRPVBD publishes high-impact primary papers covering all aspects of human and animal parasitology, vector biology and vector-borne pathogens. Current Research in Parasitology & Vector-Borne Diseases considers the following types of paper: Research articles: in-depth studies of broad significance to parasitology and vector researchers. Review articles: critical overview of the field, with a strong focus on current challenges and bottlenecks to future advances. Short communications: short articles describing significant new findings and observations. Graphical reviews: brief, synthetic overviews of core concepts and processes, focusing on visual representation. Letters to the Editor, opinion articles and short articles on methodology will also be considered.
